Welcome to Eternal Perspective! My name is Tom Wheeler - I am its author who has been writing this since 1998. Currently there are 8 editions, the last being called "What If It's True?" which is found below. After having worked at Apple Computer in the 80's and then starting my own business in 1990, I still "hadn't found what I was looking for" as the U2 song says. As a result I ended up going back to church to find out why people spent Sunday mornings in church when there were so many other things people (like me!) could be doing instead (like sleeping). I ended up reading the Bible myself as well, the New International Version. Although I had tried reading the bible in the past, without really understanding it, this time I understood what I read and my life has never been the same! Now I am an ordained pastor who works with men off the street at a ministry I co-founded called "Hoskins Park." I write these editions of Eternal Perspective to share my understanding of life, death and God as it is stated in the Bible, for those, like me, who are searching for the truth. And despite how many people are trying to make truth relative, we all know it is not. We just have to find the truth, which, perhaps, has been the search of every human being ever born. Anyway, I pray something I write will touch you in ways that a person just cannot. So enjoy! And I pray the God that created you continue to bless and guide you to Himself.
